Ontologist – Ontologe/in

  • Further development of our lexical ontology
  • Abstraction of language specific concepts and mechanisms

Software-/Web-Entwickler/in

Qualifications

Lead Developer for Semantic Parsing

Our long-term goal is to develop digital agents with very broad and almost human-like communication capabilities. Because of our strong focus on NLU, we are looking to expand our team with the addition of a lead developer for semantic parsing.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Completed Master’s degree or Ph.D. in linguistics, computational linguistics or a similar subject
  • Experience with different parse techniques, ontologies, and frame based analysis
  • Deep understanding in linguistic theory, especially in the area of semantics
  • Experience with different methods to handle morphology, autocorrection and named entitiy recognition
  • Reasonably good command of an objected oriented programming language, preferably Java (having worked with NLTK is not enough)
  • Eagerness to apply your knowledge and ideas to real world challenges, in a comprehensive way
  • Your proficiency in understanding and using the German language must be at least at the B2 level
